This is a great power supply for developing and testing CNC and 3D printers. It could be also used as an inexpensive bench supply. This power supply requires direct connection to high voltage mains and should only be used by trained personnel.

For safety, this power supply has a special current limit mode.

Current Limit switch Operation

• Move the switch to the left to set the current limiting with automatic limited voltage for safety
• Move the switch to the right for normal operation

Current Limit Step by Step Instructions

1. Move the Current Limit switch to the LEFT.
2. Short circuit pins 2 and 3 (a 50A fuse is included for this purpose).
3. Turn the current adjust knob until the current reaches the desired maximum.
4. Note that the voltage will be very low for safety.
5. Disconnect the short circuit.
6. Move the switch to the RIGHT for normal operation.
7. Note that moving the current knob will adjust the current limit threshold.
8. Adjust the voltage knob to the desired voltage.
