Product Overview
This modules uses the L298N dual motor driver chip.
Features:
- Dual full H-bridge motor driver module
- Motor voltage: 3-30VDC (select the voltage that is appropriate for the motors)
- 5VDC output interface (no need to power arduino separately)
- Supports 3V or 5V control
- Max current: 2A per motor
PINOUT for normal operation
5V-EN: Leave this jumper in place to use the VMS input to power the 5V regulator. The pin labelled 5V can be used to power a micro-controller.
On the right side of the board are a series of jumpers for additional functionality:
- CSA: Current sense for Motor A. Leave jumper in place for normal operation.
- CSB: Current sense for Motor B. Leave jumper in place for normal operation.
- U1: Input 1 10k pull-up resistor. Leave jumper in place for normal operation.
- U2: Input 2 10k pull-up resistor. Leave jumper in place for normal operation.
- U3: Input 3 10k pull-up resistor. Leave jumper in place for normal operation.
- U4: Input 4 10k pull-up resistor. Leave jumper in place for normal operation.
