The easiest way to read 125 kHz RFID tags using a PC or Raspberry PI! No drivers necessary -- the device appears as a keyboard!
Just place an 125 kHz tag close to the reader and the serial number is sent via USB.
Tested with the following RFID tags:

- Effective detecting distance: 10 mm
- Status indicator: two LEDs (red: power, yellow: reading) and a buzzer
